Organizations are adopting cloud computing to grow their business. Entrepreneurs are leveraging the cloud to build their businesses,
disrupting existing markets or creating new market opportunities. Who are these companies, how did they leverage Cloud Computing, what's their experience and what's their story? More importantly, what can we all learn from them? Come and listen to Raymie Stata, CTO Yahoo, and other cloud innovators/adopters on their stories.
Inspired by the successful WebInno conference, the Cloud Innovation Showcase is a gathering to promote Cloud Computing innovation. At each CloudInno, we pick 5-8 companies as showcases. Each company is given 5-8 minutes to tell the audience their story. The selected company can be a cloud related startup or an organization adopted cloud computing to its core business advantages.
The 2010 showcase comppanies will be annouced soon.

Raymie Stata is CTO at Yahoo!. Prior to joining Yahoo!, he founded Stata Laboratories, which he sold to Yahoo! in October 2004. Prior to founding Stata Labs, Raymie worked at the Digital Equipment Corporation’s Systems Research Center, where he contributed to the AltaVista search engine. He was an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at UC Santa Cruz. Raymie received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from MIT in 1991, and a Ph.D. in 1996, also from MIT.
